The federal alternative minimum tax attempts to ensure that all individuals who benefit from preferential tax treatment and certain deductions pay at least a minimum amount of tax. AMT % represents the percentage of a fund's income that is subject to the federal alternative minimum tax.
Represents the average annual change in value of an investment over time, including changes in share price and income (dividends or interest), expressed as a percentage. It is calculated by dividing the change in an asset's value, assuming reinvestment of income and capital gains, by the initial net investment value and then adjusting this value for the time period reported. Average annual total returns on this Web site have been adjusted for sales loads, assume a steady compounded rate of return, are not year-by-year results, and are shown for various time horizons (1, 3, 5, and 10 years). If a fund is between 5 and 10 years old, the return since inception (Life of Fund, or LOF) will be reported instead of the 10-year return. |

A measure of risk, correlation is a
statistical measure of the degree to which the movements of
two variables are related. Values range between 1 and 1. A
value close to 1 indicates that the two variables tend to
move in the same direction. A value of 1 indicates that the
two variables tend to move in opposite directions.
Correlation to benchmark indicates the degree to which the
performance of a fund is related to its relevant market.
Correlation to benchmark measures the extent of association,
but does not imply causation. An index is selected based on
a fund's Morningstar Investment Category and is used in the
calculation to measure the performance of a fund's relevant
market. Correlation to benchmark will be reported for 3, 5,
and 10 years, as applicable. In addition to the numeric
value for correlation to benchmark, funds are displayed as
having High, Medium, or Low correlation to benchmark. A High
correlation to benchmark is considered to be most favorable.
The returns used for this calculation are not load adjusted.
You cannot invest directly in any market index. Indices used
as benchmarks may differ from those listed in each fund's
prospectus.

A number of funds are available through FundsNetwork without paying a transaction fee to Fidelity. A transaction fee is similar to a brokerage fee or commission, which you pay when you buy or sell a stock. All fees as described in a fund's prospectus still apply. Redemption/exchange fees must be paid on those funds that charge such fees if shares are sold within certain time frames. Investors also still pay any fund level expenses, such as asset-based sales charges (12b-1 fees) and other fund expenses as detailed in the prospectus. The No Transaction Fee Funds (NTF) included in the Evaluator include all no-load funds (and a few funds with a 12b-1 fee greater than .25%, which are not considered no-load funds) available without paying a transaction fee to Fidelity. Load funds are not included under the Evaluator's NTF identifier, although you do not pay a transaction fee on load funds. You are charged a sales load by the fund, a portion of which is paid to Fidelity. |

A risk-adjusted measure designed by Nobel Laureate William Sharpe, it is calculated by using standard deviation and excess returns to determine reward per unit of risk. This ratio is calculated for the past 36-month period by dividing the annualized excess load-adjusted return for a security or fund by the standard deviation of the annualized excess return.
Statistical measure of how much a return varies over an extended period of time. The more variable the returns, the larger the standard deviation. Investors may examine historical standard deviation in conjunction with historical returns to decide whether an investment's volatility would have been acceptable given the returns it would have produced. A higher standard deviation indicates a wider dispersion of past returns and thus greater historical volatility. Standard deviation does not indicate how an investment actually performed, but it does indicate the volatility of its returns over time. In addition to the numeric value for standard deviation, funds are displayed as having High, Medium, or Low standard deviation, based on how much a fund's monthly return varied from its average return over 3, 5, and 10-year periods, as applicable. Standard deviation is annualized. The values for High, Medium, and Low are noted in the next table. A Low standard deviation is considered to be most favorable. The returns used for this calculation are not load-adjusted.
