Weaver to Manage Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Offices

MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 19, 2008 - Fidelity Investments today announced that Pearce R. Weaver Jr. has joined the firm as a senior vice president in charge of the Central Region for Fidelity's Consulting Services business.

Weaver, 45, joins Fidelity from Humana Inc., a health and supplemental benefits company, where he led a team of 27 people in the management of Humana's large national accounts.

In his new role, Weaver will manage Consulting Services' Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth area offices, which help mid- to large-size employers in their respective regions assess the effectiveness of their benefits programs. The Fidelity Consulting Services group provides a holistic approach to benefits design, strategy and funding, as well as communications and delivery. Weaver will help to grow Fidelity's Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex office, which was established in May.

Weaver has 22 years of experience in the field of benefits consulting and health insurance sales. Prior to his two-year stint at Humana, Weaver spent 11 years at Hewitt Associates, where he served in a variety of senior management roles including managing a large portfolio of consulting and outsourcing clients.

Weaver holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Fidelity's Consulting Services business has offices in Boston, New York, San Francisco, Chicago and the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
