kasina Ranks advisor.fidelity.com No. 1 Web Site for Financial Advisors

BOSTON, September 24, 2008 -- Fidelity Investments today announced that it has significantly enhanced its advisor Web site, advisor.fidelity.com, with the launch of a new comprehensive multimedia portal, the Insight Center. The new resource center is designed to provide advisors easy access to timely, actionable sales ideas, Fidelity research, and market analyses that can help them accelerate business growth.

Fidelity also announced that kasina, an independent management consulting firm for the financial services industry, ranked advisor.fidelity.com as the No. 1 Web site for advisors in its "2008 Top 10 Web Sites for Financial Intermediaries" study.

"We've heard from our financial advisors that they need timely market information and sales resources to help them serve their clients effectively," said Joe LoRusso, president, Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, Inc. "Having supported the sales efforts of thousands of advisors for nearly 30 years, we have developed a thorough understanding of the types of resources they value most. We built the Insight Center to give them access to a wide array of actionable information and ideas that are both thought-provoking and apply directly to their daily client work."

The Insight Center offers advisors access to more than 100 Fidelity-developed sales, market insight and research resources -- updated to reflect timely market developments and industry trends:

kasina Ranks Fidelity's Advisor Web Site No. 1

In its "2008 Top 10 Web Sites for Financial Intermediaries" study, kasina ranked advisor.fidelity.com as the No. 1 site for advisors, out of more than 50 advisor sites analyzed. kasina determined the top sites for advisors based on three primary criteria: Availability of Content, Quality of Content, and User Experience1. Advisor.fidelity.com was recognized for its fully integrated literature section, clear product profile information, and the organization and breadth of sales ideas.

"Fidelity's advisor site tops our list in 2008 by continuing to provide a wide and deep breadth of content across all areas," said Johanna Willer, a senior consultant at kasina. "Additionally, a new site redesign focused on integrating key areas of the site -- namely the product and literature areas -- resulting in a seamless user experience that gives advisors easy access to key information."

Advisor.fidelity.com is a comprehensive resource for advisors, offering them one-stop access to information, resources, tools and transaction capabilities they need to effectively grow their business. In addition to the sales ideas and insight available on the new Insight Center, the top-rated site also offers: detailed views of pricing and performance information for the entire line of Fidelity Advisor Funds® and Variable Insurance Products (VIP) Portfolios; online retirement, investment and college planning tools; the ability to order marketing and sales materials online; and the ability to view client account data and place trades. The site also offers content that can be tailored by market- and firm-specific needs, and even personalized to the individual advisor, which can help with compliance and regulatory restrictions.

"We are pleased kasina recognizes advisor.fidelity.com as the 'strongest' advisor Web site in the industry," said Martha "Marty" Willis, executive vice president of Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company. "The Insight Center is part of a site redesign that we initiated last year with the goal of providing advisors easy access to information and sales ideas that add value to their client relationships and help them grow their business, as well as strengthening our best in class client service."
