New Portfolio Manager Strengthens Investment Management Team

BOSTON, February 12, 2007 - Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments Company, today announced the appointment of David M. Rose, CFA, as a portfolio manager within its expanding investment management organization. In his new role, Rose will be managing mid-cap growth portfolios for institutional clients.

Rose recently served as vice president and senior portfolio manager at American Century Investments in Kansas City. In this role, he was the lead manager for three mid-cap growth funds with total assets in excess of $2.5 billion. "David brings to our organization a proven track record as a portfolio manager and team builder," said Young D. Chin, chief investment officer for Pyramis Global Advisors. "His demonstrated skills as an investment manager and organizational leader complement those of the other members of our team as we continue to build the Pyramis investment platform."

Rose has nine years of investment management experience. He has served as lead manager of American Century's Heritage, Giftrust, and VP Capital Appreciation funds since March 2004. From 2001 to 2004, he served as a portfolio manager of American Century's Vista fund, an aggressive growth fund. Rose joined American Century in 1998 as an analyst focusing on the Heritage and VP Capital Appreciation funds.
