BOSTON, September 9, 2003 - Fidelity Management Trust Company today announced that it has strengthened its West Coast relationship management and consultant relations teams with the appointments of Eric Winterhalter and Robert Strachan to senior vice president.
Winterhalter is responsible for managing relationships with Fidelity's defined benefit clients on the West Coast. He will focus on building strategic relationships by providing investment solutions to help meet the needs of each institutional client.
Strachan will serve as a leader on Fidelity's Consultant Relations team. He will oversee and manage the company's relationship efforts with defined benefit consultants in Fidelity's West Coast region.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Winterhalter held a variety of positions at Putnam Investments over his 10-year career. Most recently he served as senior vice president of institutional management, responsible for generating new business on the West Coast.
Prior to joining Fidelity, Strachan served as vice president of client service and marketing at STW Fixed Income Management, where he was responsible for client service, national sales, and new business development. From 1994 to 2000, Strachan served as senior manager research analyst at Frank Russell Company where he provided extensive evaluation and relative rankings of investment managers. Strachan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
