Fidelity Investments Announces Availability Of Interactive, Educational Investment Software For Pocket PC

Investors Using Pocket PC 2002 Handhelds Can Now Access Chart Climber®, As Well As New Charitable Gift Fund and Money Management Information

BOSTON, March 7, 2003 – Fidelity Investments today announced that it now offers its Chart Climber® interactive investment education program on handheld computers using Microsoft Corp.'s Pocket PC 2002.

Chart Climber is designed to help consumers learn about investing and market principles in a fun and easy-to-understand manner. The latest version of Chart Climber builds on Fidelity's PC and PalmTM handheld games, offering new graphics, color and sound effects. Investors can download the Pocket PC 2002 version of Chart Climber for $9.95 from Handango.com. The program can be located under the Trivia heading in the Web site's section of Games Software for Pocket PC.

"Chart Climber provides a mobile, interactive way for investors to sharpen their financial knowledge," said Joseph Ferra, Fidelity's chief wireless officer. "By expanding the availability of Chart Climber to Pocket PC users, Fidelity can offer a more robust program while reaching thousands of consumers who use this handheld platform."

New wireless content

Fidelity also added several links to the Fidelity AnywhereSM wireless services application, providing information about the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund and the firm's Money Management services via handheld computers, pagers and Web phones. Users can request more information about these services wirelessly or access contact information to discuss further details with Gift Fund or Fidelity telephone representatives.

With Fidelity Anywhere, investors can monitor and manage their portfolios via handheld computers, one-and two-way pagers, Web phones, in-vehicle services and e-mail. The wireless service allows customers to remotely request real-time stock quotes, watch lists and market indices, retrieve account balance information, and trade domestic stocks, options and mutual funds from a variety of wireless devices. Non-Fidelity customers can receive delayed quotes and market updates through the application.
